 Donald B. Gibson, M.D. is a semi-retired physician
and currently maintains a house-call practice. He is a Christian writer,
believing that humor and clean fun fulfill the Scriptural admonition that, "A
merry heart does good like a medicine". His latest book is THE COUNTRY
DOCTOR, a profile of the Doctor who customarily made house calls years ago. A
graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina at Charleston, Dr. Gibson worked
for many years in private practice as a Family Physician and now concentrates on
helping the Geriatric population. He believes in the principles and practices
that maintain good health, whether the regimen incorporates your
physicians' prescription, sound medical advice, and appropriate vitamin,
mineral, and herbal supplements. Realizing that we are all mortal, he holds to
his definition of health as, "That zone of existence in which you are thriving
and not perishing."
